Claus Jørgensen
Senior Functional Safety Engineer

Claus Jørgensen has a background in electronic engineering and graduated from the University of Odense in 2002. He is a passionate safety and product compliance specialist with a wealth of experience in the field. 

Claus began his career developing GNSS, optical, and laser-based guidance and control systems for construction machinery, holding various roles in R&D, systems engineering, and product management. Later, he became a product compliance manager at a fast-growing global AMR company, where he played a pivotal role in building functional safety architecture and structure. These efforts laid the foundation for significant market success. He also developed compliance strategies for global market access, achieving essential certifications and markings. 

A recognized standards expert, Claus actively contributes to industrial truck and AMR working groups under ISO, CEN, RIA, and UL. 

Based in Odense, Claus enjoys life with his two kids and has a passion for dancing bachata. Always ready to hit the dance floor, he welcomes a good dance in the cities he visits—don’t hesitate to ask him for a spin!
