Functional Safety Engineer

Daniel Christensen serves as a Functional Safety Engineer at Reynolds & Moore, bringing a wealth of expertise in safety systems and process safety to the team. In his role, he works to ensure the highest standards of safety integrity, contributing to risk assessments, facilitating workshops, and driving safety initiatives across diverse projects. His technical knowledge and commitment to excellence make him an integral part of delivering safe and reliable solutions for clients. 

Daniel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology Management and Marine Engineering, which laid the foundation for his career in safety engineering. His journey began with an internship during his final thesis, where he entered the safety discipline and quickly transitioned to significant CAPEX projects in the pharmaceutical industry. Over the years, Daniel has gained extensive experience in process safety, HSE team coordination, and ATEX/HazLoc classification. He has also worked on CE marking for PtX plants and equipment. Additionally, he is TÜV NORD certified as a Machinery Safety Expert®, a testament to his dedication to professional growth and mastery in his field. 

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active through paddle tennis and fitness training. In the warmer months, he takes pleasure in gardening and contributing to the family farm and real estate rental business.
